Owner and teacher
I was born in Poland thirty years ago to a family that always encouraged my artistic interests. After finishing a French-profile high school, I spent two years in Paris, where I continued to study the arts. Six years ago, I came to visit Chicago for a short vacation…and promptly fell in love with the City, so I stayed, and began my career working in childcare. I adore working with children – always have – and especially love inspiring and stimulating children’s artistic abilities and talents. Hobbitland is the fulfillment of my dreams, because I can work with children and guide them through art and crafts projects. I’ve also painted all the wall murals at Hobbitland…come check them out!

Owner and teacher
I was born in Warsaw, Poland and went to medical school there to study nursing. After completing my education, I realized that I also loved photography and filmmaking, so I enrolled in and graduated from the Academy of Film and Television in Warsaw. When I moved to Chicago with my husband and started my family here, I began to dream about opening a play studio where children could have a wonderful time while also learning about art, about sharing, and about themselves. Launching Hobbitland is the culmination of that dream, and my own two young children are often playing right here!
